PingWind is seeking a DBA/Data Modeler/Data Engineer to design, manage, and optimize data activities supporting the FSA IAM systems in a remote, USA-based role. You will help transition legacy AIMS and PAS data to a modern cloud-centric IAM solution and oversee ongoing operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 10 years of experience, and Public Trust clearance. You will craft data models, mappings, dictionaries, and automated data-sharing processes while ensuring secure handling of PII

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in database administration, data modeling, and data engineering.
• Experience creating detailed data models, mappings, and dictionaries.
• Proficiency with data migration and transition planning in complex systems.
• Knowledge of secure data handling, encryption, and PII protection.
• Skills in performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity management for databases.
• Ability to design and implement automated data sharing and integration processes.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
• Problem-solving abilities for troubleshooting data and database issues.
• Collaboration skills to work effectively with development, security, and operations teams.
• Familiarity with federal IT data standards and compliance requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive data transition plan to move AIMS and PAS data and legacy functionality into the new cloud-centric architecture.
• Create and maintain data models, mappings, and dictionaries for intersystem connections, loads, and extracts.
• Design and enhance automated internal data sharing processes to support analytics for user accounts and fraud detection.
• Support network management tasks related to data flows, capture true user IP addresses, and implement edge protection.
• Maintain ASI documentation and support AIMS token management data processes.
• Provide environment support through database configurations, performance tuning, monitoring, backups, and capacity management.
• Ensure proper handling and encryption of key user data.
