Job summary

The Cypress Group client, a healthtech innovator, is hiring a Senior DB Platform Engineer to design, implement and operate scalable, high-availability PostgreSQL-based production databases.

You should have 5-7+ years hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, AWS, RDS, Terraform, and MVCC, plus familiarity with Snowflake and Fivetran. The role supports remote or hybrid on-site work in the US and includes on-call rotations, a competitive base salary, bonus, benefits, 401k match and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years hands-on experience with DB platforms and production databases.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, AWS and RDS, plus Terraform and MVCC.
• BSCS or equivalent degree; excellent communication and on-call readiness.
