Job summary

HNTB is seeking a DB Design Manager (Highway/Managed Lanes) to lead teams on mega projects. The role requires extensive collaboration with contractors and a proven track record of leading design teams on nationally significant highway infrastructure projects.

The position is based from any HNTB office nationwide and requires travel to project offices; expected to deliver on-time, on-budget results with client satisfaction across multiple large-scale endeavors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 12 years of relevant experience including 6 years of experience delivering mega and/or super mega projects.

Responsibilities

• Develops and nurtures key client relationships and is the primary company contact on assigned projects.
• Responsible for financial performance on projects; manages cash, budget, schedule and project scope to meet goals.
• Sets priorities and staffs projects via collaboration with leadership to align with the Work Plan.
• Collaborates with leadership to solve challenges and meet business objectives.
• Supervises and mentors team; oversees Project Manager(s) and staff development.
• Leads pursuits of mega projects and prepares proposals and presentations for clients.
