Job summary

Atos is seeking a skilled Database Administrator (Oracle / IBM Db2) to join our production support team in the United States. The role requires 5+ years of DBA experience, hands-on Oracle and Db2 LUW expertise, and strong Linux/Unix skills.

You will install, patch, back up, recover, monitor performance and design HA/DR solutions. You will participate in on-call rotations and coordinate with security and operations to maintain data integrity and availability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DBA experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database and IBM Db2 LUW.
• Production database support experience.
• Database installation, configuration, patching and upgrades.
• Backup, restore and recovery.
• Performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• High availability and disaster recovery concepts.
• Linux/Unix experience.
• Incident, Change and Problem Management experience.
• Willingness to cross-train across database technologies.
• Ability to participate in the on-call rotation.
• Oracle skills preferred: Oracle 19c/21c/26i RAC and Data Guard.
• Db2 skills preferred: Db2 LUW HADR.
• Bash/Korn Shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support Oracle and Db2 databases in production environments.
• Install, configure, patch and upgrade databases as required.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime.
• Implement and manage high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Respond to incidents and participate in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with security, compliance and operations teams.
