Gong is seeking an IT DataOps Business Intelligence Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team. You will build and optimize our data platform, ensuring secure and scalable data flows across analytics, integration, and automation.

The role spans modern BI tools like Snowflake, Tableau, Retool, and AI-enabled features to deliver actionable insights. You will own data pipelines, governance, and cross-team collaboration, enabling business units to access reliable data for top-line metrics and

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in BI Engineering, analytics engineering, or IT infrastructure supporting data platforms.
• Experience with Snowflake, GitHub, and dbt for scalable data modeling and transformation.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (Fivetran, Census, and Workato) and workflow orchestration.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation.
• Experience with ad hoc analytics to support customer reporting requests.
• Familiarity with IAM principles and access control.
• AI/LLM integration experience: REST APIs into data pipelines or Retool.

Responsibilities

• Reverse ETL pipelines and data activation using Census, Workato, dbt, and Snowflake.
• Map transformed data models into destination SaaS apps (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk) ensuring data sync and observability.
• Tableau Server/Cloud administration, security, provisioning, and scheduling.
• Retool app development and integration with Snowflake and external APIs.
• Establish BI governance for dashboards, Retool apps, and AI features deployment.
• Integrate AI tooling to automate workflows and generate insights within BI stacks.
• Maintain secure scalable AWS data infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
