Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is hiring a Sr Technical Program Manager to join Penrose Networks, the next-generation datacenter network in AWS.

You will lead cross-organizational programs spanning software, hardware, and processes, drive innovation, and own delivery across multiple VP-level teams. The role emphasizes deep technical conversations, problem-solving, and independent outcomes across global teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management with software teams.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams and coordinating release schedules.

Responsibilities

• Drive software and network hardware programs to meet customer demand.
• Manage competing cross-organizational projects on a global scale.
• Interact cross-team with Software/Network Engineers, Managers, TPMs, Data Center Technicians and Sr Leadership.
• Run meetings, create timelines, and inform large groups of progress and blockers.
• Develop detailed, creative solutions to complex problems and scalable simple solutions.
• Drive simplification in engineering, PM, and architectures to unblock innovation.
• Partner with multiple teams across locations to align priorities and deliver outcomes.
