Job summary

NTT DATA seeks a senior Databricks Platform Engineer to lead enterprise-scale data platforms within the Databricks Center of Excellence. You will drive platform setup, governance, and adoption, partnering with clients to design scalable data solutions using Unity Catalog, Dataflow, Genie, and related capabilities.

The role is client-facing, requiring strong communication and hands-on engineering leadership, with frequent collaboration across cross-functional teams and regulated industries.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in data engineering, platform engineering, or data architecture.
• 5+ years hands-on Databricks experience in enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise in Spark, Delta Lake, and Databricks workspace management.
• Strong cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and governance controls.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy enterprise-scale Databricks Lakehouse platforms across cloud providers.
• Establish secure, governed environments using Unity Catalog and RBAC.
• Define standards and guardrails for scalable Databricks adoption and cost control.
• Lead end-to-end use-case delivery from requirements to production.
• Engage clients as a trusted advisor on architecture, data strategy, and delivery roadmaps.
