Job summary

Magnaflow in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Database Developer to design, build, and optimize databases and data pipelines. You will ensure data integrity, security, and performance to support BI, analytics, and operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in database development or data engineering, strong SQL Server and Azure SQL skills, and experience with ETL/ELT tools such as SSIS, ADF, and Databricks. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
5+ years in database development or data engineering.
Advanced SQL Server and Azure SQL optimization and stored procedures.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance database solutions.
Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines with SSIS, ADF, and Databricks.
Develop and support data warehouse and data marts for BI and analytics.
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to translate requirements into data models.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security with governance practices.
Optimize performance via indexing, partitioning, and tuning.
Implement backup, recovery, and disaster strategies for data systems.
Support integration between ERP/WMS and data pipelines.
Troubleshoot data issues and ETL failures in production.
Support users with analytics tools such as Power BI.
