Senior Database Developer

The Opportunity:

We seek an experienced database developer to help create a data warehouse solution for our Navy Client at Carderock Navy Base in Bethesda, MD. Candidates should have experience migrating different types of data (e.g., documents, time series data, simulation data) from various storage mediums into a unified solution for a variety of groups. You will work with engineers and scientists to make their collected information accessible and usable, leveraging AI/ML to better understand data and identify anomalies and causes of significant events.

Responsibilities:

1. Interview owners of existing data stores to identify use cases for contained data and users of the system(s).
2. Investigate older systems and identify strategies to import data into modern solutions.
3. Develop and execute import/migration scripts to transition hard-to-reach data into vital information.
4. Work with engineers to transform external data into usable, integrated data solutions.

Pay Range: The salary range is $66,100 - $135,600, influenced by factors such as location, experience, skills, education, and certifications.
