The Opportunity:

We seek an experienced database developer to help create a data warehouse solution for our Navy Client at Carderock Navy Base in Bethesda, MD. Candidates should have experience migrating various data types (e.g., documents, time series data, simulation data) from different storage media into a unified solution for multiple groups. You will collaborate with engineers and scientists to make their collected information accessible and usable, leveraging AI/ML to better understand data, identify anomalies, and determine causes of significant events.

Responsibilities:

1. Interview owners of existing data stores to identify use cases and user requirements.
2. Investigate older systems and develop strategies to import data into modern solutions.
3. Develop and execute import/migration scripts to transition difficult-to-reach data into vital information.
4. Work with engineers to transform external data into a usable, integrated data solution.

Pay Range: The salary range varies based on factors such as location, experience, skills, education, and certifications.
