Job summary

The Oregon Health Authority seeks a Database Analyst (IS Information Systems Specialist 7) to provide advanced expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining DBMS infrastructure across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. This role emphasizes secure, reliable data platforms that support agency missions and patient data stewardship.

You will partner with vendors, supervise complex IT projects, and guide teams through performance tuning, security controls, and modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• Six years information systems experience in enterprise database administration, including installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security, and troubleshooting of Microsoft SQL Server or comparable relational database management systems in on-premises, cloud, or hybrid environments.
• Experience administering enterprise SQL Server environments across Azure, on-premises, and cloud deployments with strong security and reliability controls.
• Master's degree may substitute for all above qualifications, per policy.
