Job summary

The role requires 7+ years Oracle DBA experience, 3+ years SQL Server, and Oracle Certified Administrator certification. Bachelor's degree in IT/CS and strong troubleshooting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or equivalent.
• Oracle Certified Administrator certification is required.
• Oracle Certified Professional certification preferred.
• 7+ years of Oracle database administration experience.
• 3+ years of Microsoft SQL Server administration experience.
• Strong backup and recovery experience with RMAN and MSSQL backup.
• Linux, KVM, and virtualization experience.
• Familiarity with Oracle and SQL licensing requirements.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and upgrade Oracle and MS SQL Server databases.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure system availability and reliability.
• Develop, implement, and test backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Manage database security, user access, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Collaborate with systems and security teams to support new technology initiatives, vulnerability remediation, and patch management.
• Enforce database policies, procedures, change control processes, and licensing compliance.
• Support development and QA environments, including database refreshes and testing activities.
• Provide technical guidance to team members and serve as a subject matter expert for database-related initiatives.
• Work with IT leadership to develop and implement database strategies that support future business needs.
