Job summary

Ariel Partners is seeking qualified candidates for a senior database design, architecture, and development role within the ITS division to support DSS program IT needs.

Responsibilities include designing data models, constructing Oracle 19c CARES DataMart and SQL Server objects, building reports, and ensuring data security across interagency exchanges. Strong SQL/PLSQL and experience with ETL tools are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of real-world delivery experience.
• Strong SQL/PLSQL and UNIX shell scripting.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, and DB2 UDB.
• Proficiency in data modeling: Star Schema and Snowflake.
• Knowledge of ETL tools: Informatica, SSIS/SSRS, SSMA.
• Familiarity with WebSphere, ESB, JIRA, and Oracle Reports.
• Experience with Curam V7 or related frameworks.
• HTML/JS/Ajax, SOA, and Web Services concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software systems and data marts.
• Build and maintain Oracle CARES DataMart and SQL Server objects.
• Create operational and analytical reports for decision-making.
• Support housing subsidy programs and eligibility automation.
• Design secure interagency data exchanges.
• Perform database performance tuning and optimization.
• Provide production support and release management.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and assist UAT.
• Prepare system design and testing documentation.
