Job summary

Ariel Partners is seeking qualified candidates for IT solutions in database design, architecture, and development. The role focuses on data integrity, security, and governance across DSS programs.

You will design data models, implement ETL with IBM InfoSphere DataStage, develop reports in Cognos, and support inter-agency data exchanges. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, system design, data replication, and 24/7 ETL support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in relevant roles.
• Curam V7 Certified Developer with Enterprise Framework knowledge.
• Experience with Curam IE Gatherer (IEG2) and CERT for Triage.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX Shell Scripting.
• Experience with data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas) and ETL tooling (InfoSphere DataStage).
• Strong knowledge of WebSphere/ESB and Oracle environments.
• Experience with Cognos/BI reporting and data exchanges.
• Experience with Linux/UNIX environments and batch/job control.

Responsibilities

• Develop business and technical requirements and translate into technical tasks.
• Create system and process design documentation and data feeds.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
• Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL objects and complex queries.
• Support data replication and 24/7 ETL process availability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors for tool evaluation and upgrades.
• Prepare test protocols, UAT, and QA testing coordination.
• Provide environment support and system migration assistance.
