Piper Companies seeks a Senior Developer – Data Warehousing & Infrastructure to lead design and governance of enterprise data warehouses and cloud infrastructure. The role is hybrid in Fort Washington, PA, and focuses on advancing analytics capabilities and data‑driven innovation.

You will mentor engineers, optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, and ensure governance and security while participating in Azure migration projects. A 5+ year track record and a Bachelor’s degree are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or infrastructure.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (compute, storage, Azure AD, resource management).
• Advanced SQL skills, database optimization, ETL/ELT development, and cloud‑native data platform expertise.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing large‑scale enterprise data warehouses and supporting infrastructure.
• Building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines across diverse data sources.
• Improving performance and reliability of cloud and on‑prem data platforms.
• Mentoring associate and mid‑level engineers and supporting cross‑functional teams.
• Ensuring governance, security compliance, and participation in Azure cloud migration projects.
