Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking an experienced data engineering leader to partner with the EDM Data Engineering team in Richmond, VA, building a centralized data warehouse with pipelines and database development. You will mentor engineers and drive data warehousing initiatives end-to-end.

The role requires 7+ years in data warehousing, deep Azure experience, and strong SQL/ETL skills, with a track record of leading teams to deliver analytics solutions.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of data warehouse development experience.
• Expertise with Azure data services (Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse).
• Strong SQL, ETL, and dimensional modeling experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of centralized data warehouse solutions.
• Mentor and guide other data engineers and work streams.
• Collaborate with EDM Data Engineering and stakeholders to translate requirements into architectures.
