Job summary

Brooksource is engaging with a global aerospace manufacturer to complete a 6-week data warehousing scoping assessment. The project aims to map financial and operational reporting requirements to existing data sources, identify gaps, and deliver a proof-of-value MVP within a 5-week window.

You will work directly with client stakeholders and SMEs to translate business reporting needs into technical specifications, define source-to-target mappings, and document data quality expectations across 16

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst in data warehousing, ETL, or enterprise reporting environments.
• Ability to read, interpret, and deconstruct complex financial reporting packages (P&L or scorecard).
• Experience facilitating requirements sessions with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in SQL to validate data, spot anomalies, and confirm mappings.
• Proven ability to produce clear, structured documentation—data dictionaries, process flows, and source-to-target mappings.
• U.S.-based work location is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze a 60+ page private equity reporting package and map metrics to sources.
• Interview finance, operations, and SMEs to validate data sources and gaps.
• Collaborate with Senior Data Engineer on field-level requirements and rules.
• Document current-state data flows across 16 global sites.
• Define MVP scope: one reporting page automated end-to-end.
• Document reconciliation tolerances for MVP vs production.
