Job summary

State of Maine seeks a Senior Programmer Analyst to support the MaineDOT Data Warehouse and Data Marts, designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise databases and analytics systems, including ETL pipelines and dimensional models for OLTP/OLAP environments.

You will collaborate with a skilled team, contribute to cloud modernization efforts, mentor colleagues, and help shape data strategy while delivering high-impact solutions for state government in Augusta with hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of computer programming experience with higher level languages, two years at Programmer Analyst level or equivalent.
• Experience with data warehousing, OLAP/OLTP, and enterprise data models.
• Experience in ETL/ELT design, implementation, and support.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex data-intensive projects for enterprise databases and data warehouses.
• Design, implement, and maintain data marts and enterprise data warehouse components.
• Mentor junior developers and coordinate project activities with technical and business stakeholders.
