MaineIT, part of the Maine Department of Administrative and Financial Services, is hiring for an experienced application development leader in Augusta. You will design, develop, test, and maintain complex applications and lead technical teams in a governance-driven environment.

The role offers hybrid work with in-office collaboration, supports large-scale enterprise systems, and requires adherence to security, data classification, and SDLC policies.

• Design, develop, test, debug, document, and maintain complex application programs and systems (< 140 chars)
• Prepare detailed design specifications for highly complex and large-scale systems (< 140 chars)
• Troubleshoot and resolve system problems to ensure continuous availability and proper functioning of applications (< 140 chars)
• Diagnose and isolate complex application software problems; implement effective solutions considering system capacity, limitations, and desired results (< 140 chars)
• Review code for efficiency, organization, and quality; deliver fully tested deployments (< 140 chars)
• Manage code repository/versioning systems (e.g., GitHub, Subversion) and apply test-driven development practices (< 140 chars)
