Job summary

DBM Global invites a seasoned database and data warehouse developer to join our Phoenix headquarters. You will design data architectures, develop and maintain data models, write advanced SQL scripts, and collaborate with DBAs and developers to optimize data integration and governance.

We seek 5–7+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field, and strong knowledge of SSIS, SQL Server, and data modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required or proven experience in lieu of degree.
• 5–7+ years experience in database/data warehouse development.
• Proficiency in SQL Server and ETL tooling (SSIS).
• Experience with data modeling and schema design.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in design of data architectures; translate data so that it can be read by various types of computer systems.
• Collaborate in designs and building of databases used with data architectures.
• Collaborate in development of strategies for data acquisition.
• Partner with development teams and DBAs to understand data management and governance protocols; manage information lifecycle; design integration controls.
• Understand business strategy and translate BI needs to the database level.
• Maintain advanced models and logical database designs.
• Write and maintain advanced SQL scripts.
• Analyze and report the performance of database operations against key metrics.
