Job summary

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a Database Developer to lead the evolution and maintenance of high-performance data warehouses for federal data initiatives in Huntsville, AL. You will architect the infrastructure that powers government insights and ensure data remains accessible, verified, and ready for mission-critical analysis.

The role requires 8+ years in database development and data warehousing, a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance, and a BS in CS/IT.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
8+ years of professional experience in database development and data warehousing.
Proven experience in the design, construction, and deployment of enterprise-scale data warehouses.
Strong proficiency in SQL and advanced data modeling techniques.
Demonstrated experience implementing data verification and validation methods.

Responsibilities

End-to-end data warehouse design and construction for large-scale government data initiatives.
Provide product support and proactive maintenance of the enterprise data warehouse.
Prepare and implement rigorous data verification and testing methods to ensure data integrity.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate mission requirements into scalable architectures.
Optimize data warehouse performance through indexing, partitioning, and storage strategies.
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for seamless data flow.
Document data models, schemas, and testing procedures for transparency and compliance.
Support integration of the data warehouse with downstream analytics and visualization tools.
