Job summary

CI&T in the United States is seeking a Senior Data Visualisation Engineer to design and maintain semantic data models in Tableau, build dashboards from diverse data sources, and collaborate with data engineering to ensure robust, self-service analytics across the enterprise.

You will drive data governance and performance optimization, translate business needs into scalable BI solutions, and support migration of analytics from Looker to Databricks + Tableau while maintaining security and data

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing dashboards in Tableau.
• Consolidated experience with Data Visualisation.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and manipulation of large volumes of data.
• Solid foundation in Dimensional Data Modelling.
• Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) methodologies and data integration tools.
• Ability to analyse and interpret complex data to generate clear reports.
• Advanced English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize semantic data models in Tableau.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Tableau dashboards, reports, and datasets.
• Partner with data engineering to define and validate data pipelines in Databricks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable BI solutions.
• Drive the migration strategy from Looker to Databricks + Tableau.
• Implement best practices in data governance, performance, and security for BI assets.
• Ensure data quality and integrity for decision-making.
• Identify and resolve data and dashboard performance issues.
• Familiarity with Looker is desirable but not essential.
