Cambridge Investment Research in Phoenix seeks a Senior Tableau Engineer to design, develop, and maintain BI solutions that empower data-driven decisions. This role partners with analytics, data engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver dashboards and reports that are fast, reliable, and easy to consume.

You will design semantic layers, optimize performance, and ensure governance across Tableau Server/Cloud environments while translating complex data into executive-ready insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business intelligence or data visualization development.
• Hands-on Tableau experience in an enterprise environment.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Snowflake or a similar cloud data platform.
• Ability to translate complex datasets into clear, executive-level insights.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, workbooks, and visual analytics solutions.
• Gather requirements, clarify KPIs, and translate business questions into visual solutions.
• Partner with data engineers and data architects on BI solutions for analytics-ready data sources.
• Develop semantic layers, calculated fields, and certified data sources for reuse.
• Improve dashboard speed and scalability through data modeling and best practices.
• Apply layout and UX standards to create intuitive analytics; support Tableau Server/Cloud publishing and governance.
