Job summary

The Boeing Company seeks a Software Engineer, Data Systems (Experienced or Senior) to support the Rocky program. You will architect, design, develop, and test data systems handling large data and video demands for the Rocky schedule.

Roles involve leading design analyses, translating requirements, and overseeing software tech adoption across interfaces, databases, and services. On-site work in Albuquerque, NM or El Segundo, CA is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience with large DBMS, SQL, and database design.
• Foundational CS knowledge and object-oriented design patterns.
• Experience with ETL processes and data backup/recovery.
• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Leads the design, development, and analyses of user interfaces of software systems
• Partners with appropriate stakeholders to oversee translation of software requirements and models that meet customer, operational and performance requirements
• Leads completion of software system-level analyses to identify risk, issues and opportunities
• Leads software engineers to successfully complete code reviews to ensure alignment to requirements and standards
• Leads review of product and process for alignment with project plans and industry standards
• Researches and oversees implementation of current and emerging software technologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g. development, design, review preparation, customer coordination, closed area development, etc.)
