Job summary

Edward Jones is seeking a Senior Data Advisor to lead data strategy and governance across large initiatives. You will coordinate across product, data science, operations, and software development to design effective data solutions aligned with firm goals.

You will establish KPIs, drive data literacy, manage vendor relationships, and influence outcomes across the organization. Excellent communication and strategic thinking are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data/analytics roles (data product management, analytics consulting, BI, data strategy, or applied AI).
• Proven experience aligning business strategy to data capabilities and delivering measurable outcomes.
• Strong understanding of data platforms (lakehouse, ELT/ETL), semantic modeling, BI, and AI concepts.
• Working knowledge of data governance and Responsible AI principles.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy for ownership areas and align with the Data Strategy and Firm Plan.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, operations, and software developers to design solutions.
• Define KPIs to monitor data assets and communicate the data narrative to leadership.
• Lead change management, training, and education initiatives for data literacy.
• Develop business relationships with senior leaders to drive key initiatives.
