Job summary

Lincoln Financial Group seeks a Lead Data Steward to support the Annuity business and shape how data drives decisions. The role offers a hybrid schedule with preferred locations in Fort Wayne, IN; Greensboro, NC; or Hartford, CT.

You will partner with business and IT teams to ensure data is accurate, reliable, and aligned with governance standards, lead data stewardship, and help develop AI-ready data capabilities across multiple agile teams.

Qualifications

• 4 year/bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 5–7+ years of business analysis experience
• Strong SQL skills across platforms
• Confident, clear communicator with written and verbal skills
• Strong presentation skills with ability to influence at all levels
• Strong project management skills coordinating multiple projects under deadlines
• Strong relationship management with internal clients
• Understanding of cloud services and concepts

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis for the Annuity production environment, acting as data SME and resolving production issues
• Define requirements, use cases, and outcomes for strategic initiatives aligning with data strategy
• Drive data delivery across agile teams with target-state design and roadmaps
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet governance standards and business needs
• Lead data stewardship focusing on architecture, lineage, quality frameworks and data integrity
• Support development of AI-ready data capabilities by identifying data gaps
• Champion process improvements to enhance data quality and reporting capabilities
• Collaborate with analysts and project teams to deliver data-focused initiatives
