AVER, LLC in Springfield, VA is seeking an experienced Senior Data Solutions Engineer to bridge business needs and technical delivery, shaping data-driven applications and analytics for mission success.

You will lead end-to-end product delivery, translate requirements into scalable solutions, and collaborate with UI/UX, software, data, and infrastructure teams across data lakes, Data Fabric, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a STEM field.
10+ years of professional experience in data analysis, assessment, and reporting.
Experience designing relational databases with SQL, stored procedures, views, and data pipelines in Oracle, PostgreSQL, Redshift or similar.
Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders, UI/UX, software engineers, and data teams to deliver scalable data-driven solutions.
Experience with data lakes, Data Fabric architecture, ETL processes, BI tools, and dashboards.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end product delivery for data solutions across the stack.
Translate business and user requirements into scalable data-driven technical solutions.
Act as liaison between stakeholders, UI/UX teams, developers, and data engineers.
Design and optimize database structures, SQL queries, views, tables, and business logic for enterprise apps.
Improve usability, performance, reliability, and maintainability of data products.
