Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a senior Data Specialist Solutions Architect to help Strategic Accounts architect data platforms powering agentic AI and advanced analytics. You will design enterprise data strategies, connect siloed data, and guide multi-cloud and open-source deployments.

You will partner with executives, influence product direction, and mentor teams across AWS services, partners like Snowflake and Databricks, and open-source frameworks. Travel up to 25% domestically.

Qualifications

8+ years of technology experience in areas such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
Proven ability to define data architectures and modern data platforms.
Experience with data lakes/lakehouses and distributed computing solutions.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS, OSS and partner data solutions aligned with technical and business goals.
Lead technical engagements, ensure value delivery, and manage risk across projects.
Collaborate with sales, service teams and Go-to-Market to translate customer needs into proposals.
