Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a senior Data Specialist Solutions Architect to help Strategic Accounts architect data platforms for agentic AI and advanced analytics. You will design enterprise-wide data strategies, bridge data across silos, and partner with AWS services and open-source tools.

You will interact with customer executives, shape data modernization roadmaps, and influence product direction while traveling up to 25% domestically with some international travel.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technology domain experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, data & analytics).
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
• Experience with big data processing technologies (Hadoop or Apache Spark) and data warehouse architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS, OSS and partner data solutions meeting technical requirements and business objectives.
• Deliver on-site technical assessments with partners and customers and create reference architectures.
• Engage with stakeholders to define a vision for a modern data ecosystem supporting agentic AI workloads.
• Lead technical engagements and oversee project delivery with security and governance.
• Collaborate with sales and technical teams to craft proposals and bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
