Job summary

MRE Consulting’s Data Strategy & Cloud Enablement practice is seeking a Lead Data & Solution Architect to serve as a senior technical authority across client engagements, spanning multi-system integrations, data management platform implementations, and key data initiatives.

In this client-facing role, you will translate ambiguous business needs into technical roadmaps, design data platforms, and provide architectural guidance to sales and delivery teams across engagements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or solution architecture roles, with lead capacity.
• Experience across multi-system integrations and data platform implementations.
• Strong communication skills for client-facing and sales conversations.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design of data platforms, integration strategies, and analytics solutions for client engagements.
• Design, enhance, and modify enterprise data warehouses to support analytics and BI needs.
• Build ETL/ELT pipelines to support data integration, migration, and analytics initiatives.
• Serve as senior technical resource in pre-sales and scoping conversations with stakeholders.
• Design data architectures for M&A integration, including consolidation and harmonization.
• Architect data solutions for investment firms (portfolio data, reporting, operations).
• Apply AI tools to enhance data platform delivery and governance.
• Develop data governance, quality standards, and modeling practices.
• Work with APIs to manage and monitor data flows across systems.
• Design and build data pipelines using Boomi, Celigo, Workato, or MuleSoft.
• Architect near-time, real-time, and streaming data solutions for low-latency analytics.
• Oversee delivery teams, provide architectural guidance and QA.
• Produce client-ready architecture diagrams and executive roadmaps.
• Stay current on data platforms, AI tooling, and practice development.
• Mentor junior architects and engineers.
