Job summary

Constellation is seeking a Data Solutions Architect to design robust data architectures, build scalable data platforms, and guide cross-functional teams. You will drive data-driven decision making and ensure data quality, security, and governance across the enterprise.

The role requires cloud-based data platforms expertise, strong communication skills, and mentoring of data teams to deliver impactful insights for business leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems with 8 years experience, or 12 years experience in lieu of degree.
• 10 years IT experience with at least 5 years in data architecture or data engineering.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Azure data services (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks).
• Proven ability to design and deliver large-scale data solutions and architectures.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL pipelines, data lakes, BI, and Big Data tech.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data architectures to meet business needs.
• Lead development of data pipelines and warehousing for BI and reporting.
• Translate business needs into comprehensive data solutions with quality and security.
• Establish data governance and promote data stewardship across teams.
• Mentor cross-functional teams and drive adoption of scalable data platforms.
• Communicate complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay current with emerging data tech and optimize for performance and cost.
