Job summary

Northwestern Mutual, a long-standing financial services leader, seeks an Assistant Director of Data Software Engineering - AI/ML Ops to build and standardize services, data pipelines, and model governance for ML initiatives. You will collaborate with Data Scientists, Engineers, and Product Owners to operationalize predictive analytics and generative AI.

You will help deploy via Databricks, AWS, and other platforms, mentor engineers, and drive scalable data solutions across NM's data platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with data processing frameworks and Kubernetes.
• Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) and data visualization.
• Understanding of ML concepts and CI/CD practices.
