Axiom Path is seeking a Senior Data Security Architect to advance enterprise data protection across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments. You will help shape security architecture for modern analytics platforms, including Databricks, and drive DLP and encryption strategies.

You will collaborate with security, engineering, risk, and compliance teams in a global financial services setting, translating architectural concepts into practical controls and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in information security or enterprise architecture.
• Strong expertise in data security architecture (DLP, encryption, access governance).
• Experience securing data platforms, especially Databricks, Oracle, and SQL-based systems.
• Understanding of data architecture, analytics platforms, and data protection.
• Experience designing controls across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments.
• Knowledge of security frameworks, regulatory requirements, and data protection.
• Experience evaluating security technologies and gap analyses.
• Proven ability to support large-scale security automation initiatives.

• Design and enhance enterprise data security architectures across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments.
• Establish standards for data discovery, classification, DLP, encryption, and key management.
• Develop strategies for Databricks, Oracle, and SQL-based analytics platforms.
• Define controls for structured and unstructured data throughout its lifecycle.
• Evaluate technologies, identify gaps, and propose improvements.
• Create target-state security architectures and implementation roadmaps.
• Support automation initiatives to improve data protection.
• Provide architectural guidance across solution lifecycles.
• Collaborate with engineering, risk, compliance, and privacy stakeholders.
