Job summary

Prescient Edge seeks a Senior Data Scientist to support a federal government client in Washington, DC. The role involves data analytics, ML tool development, and large-scale data pipelines using Python/R/SQL, and visualization with Power BI and Tableau.

The position requires a Master’s or equivalent experience, a TS/SCI with CI poly clearance, and 12+ years in the field. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience in the labor category, with recent work in last 2 years.
• Demonstrates mission knowledge and ability to communicate complex information clearly.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Ability to collaborate with IC members on information sharing and analytic disputes.

Responsibilities

• Conducts data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory and predictive analyses.
• Builds ML-based tools or processes, e.g., recommendation engines or lead scoring.
• Performs statistical analysis and data mining on large datasets.
• Designs, prototypes, deploys complex asynchronous frameworks.
• Develops and integrates distributed caching and cloud infrastructure.
• Creates governance and reference architectures for Enterprise applications.
