Prescient Edge in Washington, DC is seeking a Mid. Data Engineer to design, implement, and operate data management systems for a federal government client. You will shape data storage, access, and pipelines to support analysis and decision making.

The role requires TS/SCI with CI POLY (or ability to obtain), a related Bachelor’s degree, and extensive experience in data engineering, SQL/NoSQL, and ETL. Competitive salary and benefits package included.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of data engineering experience or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; substitution rules apply.
• Ability to work with data users to design and optimize architectures.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and operates data management systems.
• Designs data storage, access, and integration across regimes.
• Plans and optimizes data throughput and query performance.
• Selects and configures backend database technologies (SQL/NoSQL/HPC).
• Supports intelligence data requirements and analyses.
