Job summary

Epic Games is seeking a Senior Data Scientist, Transparency and Regulatory, to own data for regulatory reporting across flagship products such as Fortnite and the Epic Games Store. You will translate regulatory requirements into precise metric definitions and collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Engineering to deliver reliable, auditable figures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or in a related field, including experience in regulatory reporting.
• Experience turning regulatory language into precise metric definitions.
• Hands-on work on transparency reports or similar regulatory reporting (DSA, audits, etc).
• Strong written and verbal communication, with ability to present to senior leadership.
• Experience with data visualization, version control, and orchestration tools.

Responsibilities

• Own data for transparency reports and compliance reporting across Epic products.
• Turn regulatory text into production-ready metric definitions in collaboration with policy teams.
• Map moderation data to regulatory categories and instrument new features for reports.
• Partner with Data Engineering to drive templates and validation tooling.
• Review data quality checks monthly and fix drift with engineering teams.
• Lead reporting methodology discussions with leadership.
