Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Data Scientist - Level 4 to shape and execute the BU's data strategy across multiple CA sites. The role partners with executives, program leaders, and functional teams to enable production readiness and continuous improvement through advanced analytics and disciplined execution.

You will guide data-driven decisions, lead complex analytics initiatives, and drive cost, schedule, and quality objectives while working across Oxnard, Goleta, and other CA sites with travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of data mining experience or Master's with 6+ years.
• Proficiency with SQL and Tableau or similar BI tools.
• Experience ingesting, processing, storing, analyzing, and visualizing data across complex systems.
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and translate data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Own full lifecycle of data visualization tools and dashboards, data entry solutions, and analytics automations.
• Lead recurring performance review meetings focusing on metrics for strategy and execution.
• Coach stakeholders on data literacy and data flows across ERP, MES, and planning tools.
• Lead data quality and cleanup efforts to support new or enhanced business systems.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for exec to frontline audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
