Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Data Scientist to solve pricing and forecasting challenges. You will translate business requirements into testable hypotheses, develop predictive models, and optimize pricing across CVS Retail’s product portfolio.

You’ll work with engineers, data teams, and business partners to deploy scalable solutions and present insights to leadership. The role requires 3+ years in data science, strong Python/SQL skills, and experience in production forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in a quantitative field (statistics, engineering, or related).
• 3+ years as a Data Scientist in retail or related field.
• Experience building forecasting models in production across product portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into testable hypotheses and measurable metrics.
• Build predictive models to understand localized trends and optimize pricing decisions.
• Leverage large datasets and scalable modeling for CVS Retail’s portfolio.
• Collaborate with business partners, engineers, and analytics teams.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Stay updated on state-of-the-art modeling methodologies and HPC techniques.
