Rockerbox, operating under DoubleVerify, is hiring a Senior Data Scientist I to own statistical modeling and derive actionable insights for campaign measurement. You will explore methodologies, refine models, and adapt open-source tools within the Rockerbox platform.

The role emphasizes data wrangling, causal inference, and collaboration with product and engineering to deploy data science projects at scale. Remote work within the USA is supported.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience with a BA or BSc in sciences or engineering or 2+ years with an MSc/PhD.
• Strong knowledge of regression modelling, statistical testing and experimental design.
• Proficiency in scientific Python stack (NumPy, Pandas, Statsmodels, Matplotlib etc.)

Responsibilities

• Conduct exploratory data analysis, engineer features to build interpretable models.
• Adapt and optimize modeling packages, modify open source code as needed.
• Stay up to date with causal inference and experimental design techniques.
• Translate business questions into rigorous mathematical problems and present insights to stakeholders.
• Provide code reviews and collaborate with product and engineering to deploy data science projects.
