Job summary

Proxify AB is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for one of our clients. Located in CET timezone, this role focuses on translating business challenges into data science solutions and prototyping models across multiple domains.

You will develop data processing tools, communicate complex results to non-experts, and contribute to evolving data architectures while driving actionable insights with ML techniques.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in Data Science
• Experience with SAS, SQL, R and/or Python
• Experience with BI tools like Qlik/Tableau/Power BI is highly desirable
• Strong stakeholder management including advanced PowerPoint and presentation skills
• Exposure to Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Hive is a plus
• Applied knowledge of data science techniques
• Hands-on experience in data mining and ML techniques

Responsibilities

• Develop tools to process data streams and static data
• Translate business challenges into data science problems and applications
• Communicate complex solutions clearly to non-experts
• Design algorithms, build models and prototypes for multiple business areas
• Build and maintain software solutions for large-scale OO applications
• Work on evolving data architectures and system solutions
• Abstract complex business problems to provide clear, actionable insights
