UnitedHealthcare is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support the Key Measures Model (KMM) and downstream analytics for provider engagement and quality outcomes.

This remote role offers flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S., with in-office requirements for Minneapolis area four days/week. Build scalable analytic solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform healthcare analytics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing analytical solutions using ML, text mining/analysis, simulations, hypothesis testing, etc.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL, Python, PySpark and large-scale cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks).
• 1+ years of experience leveraging AI/ML tools to drive workflow automation and enhance analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement prioritization logic, measure enhancements, and NBA improvements.
• Develop, validate, and optimize analytical frameworks and scoring methodologies.
• Conduct exploratory analysis, feature development, and model performance evaluation.
• Partner with data, analytics, BI and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions.
• Translate complex analytical findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Promote analytical best practices and knowledge sharing.
