Job summary

The Home Depot's BlackLocus team is seeking a senior data scientist to design scalable algorithms and models across large datasets to generate actionable business insights for pricing and assortment decisions at a Fortune 25 company.

You will apply advanced machine learning, generative AI, and cloud AI platforms while collaborating with engineering, data science, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful results.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Bachelor's degree or higher in related field; PhD/Master preferred for advanced roles.

Responsibilities

25% Design and develop algorithms and models to use against large datasets to create business insights.
25% Provide direction on prioritization of work, ensure quality of outputs, and develop direct reports.
20% Establish scalable processes for large scale data analyses, model development and deployment.
20% Solve problems with strategic insights to optimize price points.
10% Stay current on data science and AI advancements and identify opportunities.
