Solü Technology seeks a Senior Data Scientist to support a regulatory compliance risk assessment for a major financial services client in Buffalo. You will build data pipelines, migrate data from legacy systems, and implement calculations and scoring logic using Python and SQL.

You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, map legacy data models, validate results with testing/UAT, and help develop dashboards in Tableau or Power BI to present risk scores.

Qualificações

• Python hands-on experience building solution logic, automating calculations, and data transformation.
• SQL querying skills including developing or working with stored procedures.
• ELT processes and data pipelines to move and transform data.
• Data mapping between legacy and target data models for migration.
• Regulated environment experience with data security and controls.
• Translate requirements into technical logic and validate with testing/UAT.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements.
• Tableau basics; Alteryx or Power BI familiarity may be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Build data pipelines to migrate information from legacy solutions into a new platform.
• Use Python to implement calculations, formulas, scoring methodologies, and business logic.
• Write and execute SQL queries to retrieve, analyze, and validate data.
• Develop and modify SQL stored procedures to support data processing.
• Map legacy data models to the target data model and ensure accurate transformation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into solutions.
• Conduct solution testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Document testing results and explain testing processes to stakeholders.
• Support dashboard and visualization development to present risk scores.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues during migration and testing.
• Work independently while collaborating with stakeholders as needed.
• Follow security and data-handling controls for sensitive information.
