Job summary

Schwab Technology Services is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise data assets, pipelines, reporting capabilities, and BI solutions that inform decision-making and regulatory reporting.

You will work with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into scalable, high-quality data solutions while adhering to architecture standards and development practices. Strong SQL, scripting, and DevOps experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in development, support, and maintenance of ETL and database applications.
• 2+ years with GCP technologies (GCS, BigQuery, Dataproc).
• 2+ years with IDMC (Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud).
• 2+ years of experience with Control-M.
• Strong SQL, shell scripting, and relational database concepts.
• Familiar with agile development and DevOps/CI-CD toolchains.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data assets, pipelines, and BI solutions.
• Collaborate with partners and distributed teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Perfomance tuning, data integration, modeling, and production support.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
