Qualifications

• Strong hands-on SQL against large datasets.
• Experience building or maintaining data pipelines, transformations, or mappings.
• Background with data across multiple enterprise source systems.
• Understanding of BSA/AML, financial crime, risk and controls, sanctions, or other regulated risk environments.
• Relevant degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, or related discipline.
• Strong data-quality and validation mindset.
• Ability to independently gather requirements and drive work across business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong written documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines and repeatable data processes supporting financial-crime risk analysis.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries across multiple enterprise data sources.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into technical data requirements, mappings, and query logic.
• Validate the completeness, accuracy, and integrity of data used in risk reporting and assessment processes.
• Partner with technology, data, governance, analytics, and business stakeholders to source and validate information.
• Investigate data discrepancies and coordinate with source-system owners to resolve issues.
• Maintain detailed documentation around data sources, transformation logic, validation procedures, and controls.
• Support regulatory, audit, governance, and management reporting requirements.
