Job summary

Amazon's Data Scientist III, Rapid & Rural Logistics (R2L) Science & AI team seeks a senior data scientist to build ML models, causal inference, and deliver actionable insights across supply chain programs like Ultra-fast customer experiences.

The role collaborates with business and tech stakeholders, analyzes large datasets, and mentors teammates while balancing unknowns to drive rapid, high-quality analytics and value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with querying languages and scripting or statistical software.
• 4+ years of data scientist experience.
• Experience with multinomial logistic regression.

Responsibilities

• Inform the data science charter of the team by developing ML models and causal inference techniques.
• Support multiple business and technical stakeholders with high-velocity analytics to drive customer value.
• Analyze large datasets to uncover opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and deliver actionable insights.
• Produce clear findings and recommendations with a bias for rapid, high-quality analysis.
• Balance unknowns and deliver results even when paths turn out to be dead ends.
