Amazon is seeking a Data Scientist to join the R2L team, driving the next generation of supply chain optimization for ultra-fast customer experiences including Amazon Fresh, Sub-Same Day, and Amazon Now. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop scalable ML models and data-driven solutions that impact availability, cost, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent experience in STEM fields.
• 2+ years of data scientist experience.
• 5+ years of data querying languages (SQL) or scripting/statistical software experience.
• 3+ years of ML/statistical modeling and data analysis tools.
• 1+ years of working with or evaluating AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize complex problems with product managers and engineers.
• Interview stakeholders to translate business problems into data science problems.
• Design, develop, and evaluate advanced statistics and ML models.
• Create scalable, automated processes for large-scale analyses and model deployment.
• Provide data-driven insights to shape business processes and policies.
