Qualifications

The R2L team builds the next‑generation supply chain for Amazon’s ultra‑fast customer experiences, including Amazon Fresh groceries, Sub‑Same Day, Amazon Now, and other emerging businesses. The R2L Science & AI team sits under R2L and provides central data science and AI support across the organization.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Inform the data science charter of the team by developing machine learning models and causal inference techniques.
• Support multiple business and technical stakeholders with high‑velocity analytics to drive customer value.
• Analyze large datasets to uncover opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and deliver actionable insights.
• Produce clear findings and recommendations with a bias for rapid, high‑quality analysis.
• Balance unknowns and deliver results even when some paths turn out to be dead ends.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), or statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab).
• 4+ years of data scientist experience.
• Experience with statistical models such as multinomial logistic regression.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of data visualization experience using AWS QuickSight, Tableau, R Shiny, or similar tools.
• Experience managing data pipelines.
• Leadership and mentoring experience on a data science team.

Salary range varies by location: USA, NY, New York - $175,100.00 to $236,900.00 USD annually; USA, WA, Bellevue - $159,200.00 to $215,300.00 USD annually.
