Qualifications

• 5+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL) and scripting/statistical software experience.
• 4+ years of data scientist experience.
• Experience with statistical models e.g. multinomial logistic regression.
• Knowledge of AWS tech stack (SageMaker, Redshift, S3, Glue).
• Experience collaborating with scientists, economists, software developers, or product managers.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy production ML forecasting systems with extended horizons.
• Build and scale AI-powered analytics platforms for unstructured data.
• Collaborate with operational science teams to integrate insights into models.
• Build automated causal discovery systems using knowledge graphs, LLMs, and document understanding.
• Develop NLP and GenAI applications including event detection and sentiment analysis.
• Partner with engineering teams to productionize models using AWS services.
• Mentor junior scientists and contribute to a research culture.
• Author internal and externally-facing scientific publications and technical documents.
