Job summary

AirLife in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Data Science (Quality) to develop ML models and forecasting to support commercial decisions. You will build Power BI reports, lead data initiatives, and partner with sales, pricing, marketing, and finance to improve data reliability across workflows.

The role emphasizes experimentation, measurement, and automation to increase efficiency, with responsibilities spanning data modeling, reporting, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Experience building predictive models or forecasts in Python, R, or similar.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Query or other BI tools.
• Experience with SQL, Python, R or other programming tools.
• Experience with project management lifecycles.
• Experience with business processes, requirements gathering and report building.

Responsibilities

• Develops and deploys machine learning models, statistical analyses, and forecasts to support commercial decision making.
• Creates and maintains reporting for key business users, primarily through Power BI and Excel.
• Project manage data analytics initiatives by gathering requirements, coordinating stakeholders, timelines, and delivering solutions.
• Find opportunities to help business users through automation and predictive analytics.
• Understand and communicate with business users about new and existing reports and data.
• Serve as SME of data and tools to inform best practices.
